Regular Season Round 7: ENAD - Achilleas 68-74

Very expected game in Nicosia where 9th ranked ENAD (1-5) was defeated by fifth ranked Achilleas (3-4) 74-68. It was a great evening for Montenegrin center Savo Djikanovic (211-75, agent: Misko Raznatovic) who led his team to a victory with double-double 19 points and 19 rebounds (made all of his nine free throws !!!). Greek forward Georgios Diamantopoulos (195-80) helped adding 20 points and 6 rebounds. Achilleas' coach allowed to play his deep bench players and giving the chance to rest for starting five. At the losing side American swingman Tyrone Kent (196-86, college: Toledo) responded with double-double 25 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists and Canadian center David Collins (213-85, college: Bradley) with 17 points and 5 rebounds. ENAD (1-5) added third loss to their record. Despite the victory Achilleas stay at fifth position. ENAD (1-5) on the other side took eighth place. Achilleas will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. ENAD's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Nicosia to the arena Omonia.
