Regular Season Round 7: Valencia - Anadolu Efes 62-56

Valencia outplayed Efes Pilsen thanks to great last quarter. With this victory the Spanish outfit joined Armani Jeans Milano on position No.4 in Group D. Both teams have 3-4 record now. On the other side, Efes Pilsen dropped to third place with 4-3. Dusko Savanovic shined for the hosts with 13 points and 6 rebounds. Nando De Colo also scored 13 pts, but to go with 5 boards, while Victor Claver helped his team with 10 points. In Efes Pilsen, Kerem Gonlum collected 12 points and 8 boards. Kerem Tunceri stopped to 10 pts. Valencia started the game with quick 10-2 run, before Kerem Tunceri and Igor Rakocevic replied for Efes Pilsen. It was 57-56 with less than 4 minutes left when Dusko Savanovic took over with a backdoor layup and Nando De Colo sent the crowd to their feet with a critical triple, good for a 62-56 Valencia lead with 2 minutes to go. Both teams were scoreless in the finish and Valencia celebrated valuable victory. In the next round, Valencia will meet CSKA in Moscow. Efes Pilsen goes to Milano.
