Regular Season Round 11: Albacomp - Kormend 102-89

The most interesting game of round 11 in the A Division was a road defeat of 4th placed Kormend (8-3) to third ranked Albacomp (9-2) 89-102. It ended the four-game winning streak of Kormend. Albacomp was tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. Albacomp outrebounded Kormend 32-21 including 20 on the defensive glass. It was a great evening for American swingman Tony Crocker (201-87, college: Oklahoma, agency: Impact Basketball) who led his team to a victory scoring 28 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. International guard Adam Hanga (201-89, agency: FCM) helped adding 27 points. American forward Rashad Bell (201-82, college: Boston U.) responded with 26 points and 9 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) and the other American import guard Marcus Moore (198-80, college: Washington St.) scored 12 points and 8 assists. Four Kormend players scored in double figures. Kormend's coach Balazs Sabali rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Albacomp have an impressive series of five victories in a row. The victory allowed Albacomp (9-2) to climb to the second place. They share it with Atomeromu. Kormend is currently in fourth position with a 8-3 record as they suffered their third loss. Albacomp is looking forward to face FS Debrecen (#13) on the road in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Kormend will play against ZTE KK (#6) in Zalaegerszeg and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
