Lottomatica booked a spot for Euroleague Top 16. The Roma team outplayed Unicaja 81-75 joining them and Real Madrid with 5-4 record in Group B. All of them already qualified for the next stage. Nihad Dedovic demonstrated another great performance for Lottomatica as he collected 23 points and 6 assists. Dedovic was the MVP of this meeting with valuation 32. Darius Washington scored 18 and Luigi Datome added 14 points for the hosts. In Unicaja, Robert Archibald collected 18 points and 9 boards. Saul Blanco stopped to 11 pts. Lottomatica opened the game in style making quick 10-0 run. Unicaja replied with 2-11, but still it was the home squad who had 20-15 lead after ten minutes of play. Unicaja tied the score to 26-26 at the beginning of the second period and teams stayed leveled until the 5-0 run by Lottomatica in the finish. Tripkovic closed the first half with a triple setting the score to 42-40. Teams exchanged baskets after the breather and neither of them was able to create a serious lead. Thanks to Darius Washington, Lottomatica had 62-60 with 10:00 to go. Robert Archibald silenced the crown with a jam at the beginning of the last period and soon after that Unicaja made 64-69 turn. Roma players didn’t panic and mostly thanks to Nihad Dedovic, Traore and Dasic, they managed to take 79-73 lead in the finish of this game. Archibald scored for Unicaja and Dedovic responded with two free throws on the other side. Unicaja was stopped in the next offense and Lottomatica fans already started to celebrate passage to Euroleague Top 16. In the last round of regular season, Lottomatica will meet Olympiakos on the road. Unicaja waits Brose Baskets.
