Regular Season Round 12: Kormend - ZTE KK 82-71

Date: December 17, 2010
No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Kormend (9-3) defeated at home 6th ranked ZTE KK (7-5) 82-71. The game was dominated by American players. The winners were led by Marcus Moore who scored that evening 21 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists. The game was mostly controlled by Kormend. ZTE KK managed to win third quarter 18-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Kormend dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to ZTE KK's 36. The winners were led by guard Marcus Moore (198-80, college: Washington St.) who scored that evening 21 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists and forward Rashad Bell (201-82, college: Boston U.) supported him with 23 points and 9 rebounds. Even 20 points and 9 rebounds by forward Kyle Wilson (206-83, college: Wichita St.) did not help to save the game for ZTE KK. Guard Kevin Thomas (193-82, college: Georgia St., agency: Interperformances) added 21 points and 5 rebounds. Kormend maintains fourth position with 9-3 record, which they share with Kecskemeti. ZTE KK lost third consecutive game. Defending champion keeps the sixth place with five games lost. Kormend's next round opponent will be FS Debrecen (#13) at home and are hoping to win another game. ZTE KK will play against Atomeromu (#3) in Paks.
