Very expected game in Paks where 8th ranked PVSK Pannon (6-8) was defeated by third ranked Atomeromu (12-3) 78-69 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 10 points at the halftime before their 47-28 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. It was a great evening for American power forward Brooks Sales (208-80, college: Villanova) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 30 points and 15 rebounds (perfect behind the arc making all five shots). His fellow American import swingman Brendan Winters (195-83, college: Davidson) helped adding 22 points. The best for the losing side was American swingman Muhammad El-Amin (196-87, college: Stony Brook) with 19 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and Croatian guard Josip Glavinic (192-82) scored 16 points and 5 assists. Four PVSK Pannon players scored in double figures. PVSK Pannon's coach Srecko Sekulovic rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Atomeromu moved-up to second place, which they share with Albacomp. Loser PVSK Pannon dropped to the seventh position with eight games lost. They share it with Falco-Szova. Atomeromu will meet Kaposvari (#12) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. PVSK Pannon will play against Szedeak (#9) in Szeged and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
