Leader Szolnok delivered the twelfth victory. This time they crushed 12th ranked Kaposvari (4-10) 96-60. The game without a history. Szolnok led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Kaposvari's 34. Szolnok outrebounded Kaposvari 48-30 including a 33-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists. It was a good game for American guard Obie Trotter (186-84, college: Alabama A&M, agency: Court Side) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 5 rebounds and 13 assists. Croatian swingman Veljko Budimir (199-85, agency: Court Side) contributed with 21 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Four Szolnok players scored in double figures. American guard Josh Wilson (188-87, college: N.Arizona, agency: Beggs and Lane) answered with 19 points and 5 assists and the other American import center Kurt Cunningham (206-87, college: Boise St.) added 13 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Kaposvari. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Szolnok maintains first place with 12-2 record.
