Leader Pecs 2010 delivered the seventeenth win on Saturday night. This time they crushed 8th ranked Bajai NKK (6-10) 76-51. The game without a history. Pecs 2010 led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Bajai NKK's 34. Pecs 2010 forced 26 Bajai NKK turnovers. The best player for the winners was the former international guard Zsofia Fegyverneky (178-84) who scored 23 points and 5 rebounds. American forward Kelsey Griffin (188-87, college: Nebraska) chipped in 13 points and 7 rebounds. Pecs 2010's coach Zeljko Dokic felt very confident using 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was power forward Bettina Bozoki (190-89) who recorded 13 points and 5 rebounds and guard Kata Furtos (174-87, agency: Laszlo Vinko Services) added 6 points and 5 rebounds respectively. Pecs 2010 (17-1) have an impressive six-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position. Bajai NKK at the other side keeps the eighth place with ten games lost. Pecs 2010 are looking forward to face Vasas-Csata (#11) in Budapest in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Bajai NKK will play on the road against BSE in Budapest and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
