Pecs 2010 secured Euroleague Last 16 birth. They overcame Group A leaders Taranto in the final round of the regular season to clinch the fourth spot in the pool. Zsofia Fegyverneky knocked down 16 points to lead the charge. Taranto suffered just the second loss at the tournament and claimed the top place in the standings. Pecs 2010 started the game bravely but could pile up a comfortable margin. Taranto stayed close and trailed by just three points at the first break 13:16. Zsofia Fegyverneky helped the hosts to a 7:0 start of the second quarter. She ensured a 30:17 lead for the Hungarian team midway through the second term. Zsofia Fegyverneky enlarged the margin to 14 points before Sophia Young narrowed the gap to 12 points at halftime 29:41. Pecs 2010 maintained the lead throughout the third quarter. They registered a 56:43 advantage with ten minutes remaining. Taranto failed to recover in the fourth quarter and Pecs 2010 rolled to the win at the end. Dalma Ivanyi produced 14 points, 10 assists and 5 boards for Pecs 2010. Kelsey Griffin had 13 points and 11 boards in the victory. Sophia Young answered with 17 points for Taranto. Elodie Godin added 14 points in the loss.
