Not a big story in a game when 11th ranked Kaposvari (6-12) was defeated at home by ninth ranked Falco-Szova (8-10) 96-81 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Falco-Szova. Kaposvari was better in third quarter 28-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Falco-Szova shot the lights out from three sinking 12 long-distance shots on high 60.0 percentage. The game was also dominated by American players. The best player for the winners was swingman Jara Doyne (193-84, college: Mississippi) who scored 29 points and 5 rebounds. Forward Charles Gosa (202-77, college: N.Mexico St.) chipped in 17 points and 5 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was center Kurt Cunningham (206-87, college: Boise St.) who recorded 21 points and 7 rebounds and guard Josh Wilson (188-87, college: N.Arizona, agency: Beggs and Lane) added 15 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Falco-Szova moved-up to eighth place in Division. Loser Kaposvari keeps the eleventh position with 12 games lost. Falco-Szova will face bottom-ranked Salgotarjani (#14) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. Kaposvari will play against ZTE KK in Zalaegerszeg.
