Top 16 Round 3: Olympiacos - Valencia 77-62

Olympiakos celebrated the second victory in Euroleague Top 16, Group H. The Reds outplayed Valencia staying alone on the second place with 2-1 record. Radoslav Nesterovic was the leading scorer in victory with 17 points and Vassilis Spanoulis secured a great help adding 14 pts. Ioannis Bourousis collected 11 points and 7 boards for 16 minutes on the court. On the other side, Valencia got 16 points and 8 rebs from Victor Claver. Dusko Savanovic had 13 points and 5 boards, while Serhiy Lishchuk followed with 10 pts and 7 rebs. Their team dropped to 1-2. Teams were leveled at the beginning (8-8), before nice 10-2 run by Olympiakos who earned 18-10 lead after ten minutes. Dusko Savanovic and Javtokas stepped up for Valencia in Q2 and together with De Colo helped their team to close the gap to 24-20, but the hosts had an answer for that. Radoslav Nesterovic dominated inside, while Teodosic secured a great help from behind the arc and the hosts completed 9-0 run, which later led to 38-24 at the HT. The Reds had 48-32 at the midway of Q3 and later finished it with 57-42. Valencia had no chance for rest of the game as Olympiakos was controlling every part of it. Teams will meet again in the next round and Valencia will be the host.
