Halcon Avenida advanced into Euroleague quarterfinals. They defeated Pecs 2010 in Hungary to complete the sweep of the best-of-three series. Sancho Lyttle came up with 22 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Spanish team. It was a close battle right from the start. The lead changed hands for several times throughout the opening term. Sancho Lyttle capped the period with a layup to level things up at 17. The teams continued to exchange baskets in the second period. Krnjic and Griffin eked out a 38:35 lead for Pecs 2010 at the interval. Marta Xargay Casademont knocked down 8 points in the third quarter to give Halcon Avenida a narrow 49:48 lead at the final intermission. The visitors went on a 6:0 run midway through the fourth quarter to clear off 64:57. Allie Quigley and Bujdoso responded with back-to-back trebles to cut the deficit. But Silvia Dominguez, Sancho Lyttle and Marta Xargay Casademont followed with eight free throws and Halcon Avenida ran away with the victory. Marta Xargay Casademont delivered 13 points for Halcon Avenida. Erika DeSouza had 11 points and 10 rebounds in the victory. Allie Quigley chipped in 23 points for Pecs 2010. Zsofia Fegyverneky notched 12 points in the loss.
