Regular Season Round 19: Kormend - Atomeromu 108-95

The game between third ranked Atomeromu (13-6) and fourth ranked Kormend (13-5) was the most important one in the last round on Saturday night. Atomeromu was defeated by Kormend in Kormend 95-108. The hosts trailed by 4 points at the halftime before their 59-42 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Kormend shot 60.9 percent from the field. They shot the lights out from three sinking 15 long-distance shots on high 53.6 percentage. American players dominated the game. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Rashad Bell (201-82, college: Boston U.) who helped to win the game recording 22 points. Power forward Emmanuel Dies (204-77, college: Kansas St., agency: Interperformances) contributed with 19 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Kormend's coach Balazs Sabali used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Power forward Brooks Sales (208-80, college: Villanova) answered with 19 points and 9 rebounds and guard Jibril Hodges (188-84, college: Long Beach St.) added 22 points and 5 assists in the effort for Atomeromu. Four Kormend and five Atomeromu players scored in double figures. Kormend moved-up to third place. Atomeromu at the other side dropped to the fourth position with six games lost. They share it with ZTE KK. Kormend are looking forward to face Salgotarjani (#13) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Atomeromu will play against FS Debrecen (#14) and is hoping to win this game.
