A Division top team - Szolnok (17-3) had no problems winning another game on Saturday. This time they crushed fourteenth ranked Salgotarjani (1-19) 119-71. The game without a history. Szolnok led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They shot 69.4 percent from the field. Szolnok outrebounded Salgotarjani 35-18 including a 24-10 advantage in defensive rebounds. They shot the lights out from three sinking 16 long-distance shots on high 61.5 percentage. Szolnok looked well-organized offensively handing out 38 assists comparing to just 19 passes made by Salgotarjani's players. American forward Ivory Clark (198-85) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. International guard Marton Fodor (191-81, agency: Laszlo Vinko Services) contributed with 15 points and 5 assists for the winners. Five Szolnok players scored in double figures. Szolnok's coach felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Forward Tamas Hartvich (200-74) replied with 21 points and 5 rebounds and American guard Chris Rodgers (193-84, college: Arizona) added 17 points and 6 assists in the effort for Salgotarjani. Szolnok maintains first position in Division with 17-3 record. Salgotarjani at the other side stay dead last with 19 lost games.
