LNA top team - Helios (17-0) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed eighth ranked Hope-GBA (1-16) in Bernex 80-49. The game without a history. Helios led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 38 of its points in the paint compared to Hope-GBA's 18. They outrebounded Hope-GBA 50-23 including a 19-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. Hope-GBA was plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. Venezuelan guard Maria Villarroel (174-78, college: Oklahoma, agency: LBM Management) nailed a double-double by scoring 27 points and 13 rebounds for the winning side and naturalized British power forward Sarah Kershaw (180-85) accounted for 13 points and 10 rebounds. Four Helios players scored in double figures. Guard Dorothee Studer (168-92) came up with 8 points and 7 rebounds and swingman Nina Kane (176-90) added 11 points respectively for Hope-GBA in the defeat. Hope-GBA's coach Billy Karageorgakis gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. Helios have an impressive series of seventeen victories in a row.
