Rather expected game when 5th ranked Kecskemeti (13-8) lost to second ranked Albacomp (19-3) in Szekesfehervar 73-77 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 4 points after three quarters before their 22-14 charge, which allowed them to win the game. American center Jonathan Jones (211-79) notched a double-double by scoring 22 points and 16 rebounds to lead the effort and international guard Adam Hanga (201-89, agency: FCM) supported him with 22 points and 7 rebounds. Even 25 points and 8 rebounds by the former international guard Krisztian Wittmann (185-85, agency: FCM) did not help to save the game for Kecskemeti. Croatian swingman Ivan Siriscevic (198-87) added 12 points and 9 rebounds for lost side. Albacomp have an impressive eight-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Szolnok. Loser Kecskemeti keeps the fifth place with eight games lost. Albacomp will meet ZTE KK (#6) in the next round where they are favorite. Kecskemeti will play against Kormend and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
