The game in Szeged supposed to be also quite interesting. Second ranked Pecs 2010 (22-1) played at the court of 6th ranked Szeged (14-10). Pecs 2010 smashed Szeged 78-54 on Saturday. The game without a history. Pecs 2010 led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Szeged's 34. They outrebounded Szeged 39-21 including a 28-13 advantage in defensive rebounds. American forward Kelsey Griffin (188-87, college: Nebraska) stepped up and scored 26 points and 7 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) for the winners and the former international forward Nora Bujdoso (185-85, agency: Laszlo Vinko Services) chipped in 8 points and 12 rebounds. Pecs 2010's coach Zeljko Dokic felt very confident using 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side Ukrainian forward Olena Zherzherunova (191-78, agency: LBM Management) responded with 24 points and 5 rebounds and Serbian forward Iva Roglic (189-88) scored 14 points and 5 rebounds. The victory was the twelfth consecutive win for Pecs 2010. Defending champion keeps a position of league leader, which they share with MKB Eurol. Loser Szeged keeps the sixth place with ten games lost. Pecs 2010 will meet at home league's leader MKB Euroleasing in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Szeged will have a break next round.
