Regular Season Round 26: BSE-FCSM - MBK Eurl.Vasas 64-84

Date: March 12, 2011
We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams when eleventh ranked Vasas-Csata (5-19) crushed 10th ranked BSE (5-19) in Budapest 84-64 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 9-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 84-64. Vasas-Csata dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to BSE's 32. They outrebounded BSE 43-19 including a 30-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. Forward Lilla Adamecz (181-92) notched a double-double by scoring 19 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the effort and power forward Anna Mansare (188-92) supported her with 18 points and 8 rebounds. Vasas-Csata's coach Eva Diosdi Deak used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. Even 16 points and 6 rebounds by forward Klara Tiba (193-81) did not help to save the game for BSE. Guard Sara Pusztai (170-87) added 11 points and 5 assists for the hosts. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Vasas-Csata moved-up to tenth place, which they share with defeated BSE. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
