We should mention about the upset which took place in Pecs, where 8th ranked PVSK Pannon (12-12) lost at home to eleventh ranked Marso-Vagep (10-14) 67-78 on Tuesday. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of PVSK Pannon. The game without a history. Marso-Vagep led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Worth to mention a great performance of Bosnian power forward Djordje Djogo (206-76, agency: BeoExcell) who helped to win the game recording 21 points and 5 rebounds and Slovenian guard Brane Savic (181-79) who added 23 points during the contest. The best for the losing side was Nigerian center Benson Egemonye (208-83, college: Niagara) with 12 points and 9 rebounds and Croatian guard Josip Glavinic (192-82) scored 10 points and 4 assists. Four Marso-Vagep and five PVSK Pannon players scored in double figures. PVSK Pannon's coach Srecko Sekulovic rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Marso-Vagep moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Szedeak. Loser PVSK Pannon keeps the eighth position with 12 games lost. Marso-Vagep will meet Kaposvari (#12) on the road in the next round. PVSK Pannon will play against Soproni (#9) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
