Regular Season Round 25: Falco-Szova - Szedeak 115-102

Rather predictable result when sixth ranked Falco-Szova (14-11) won against 10th ranked Szedeak (10-15) in Szombathely 115-102 on Saturday. Szedeak was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. Falco-Szova dominated down low during the game scoring 72 of its points in the paint compared to Szedeak's 36. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. American swingman Jara Doyne (193-84, college: Mississippi) nailed 32 points and 5 assists for the winning side and his fellow American import forward Charles Gosa (202-77, college: N.Mexico St.) accounted for 28 points and 4 steals. Falco-Szova's coach Nikola Lazic used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Serbian power forward Nebojsa Dukic (206-85) came up with 23 points and 5 rebounds and forward Istvan Nyilas (202-76) added 22 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Szedeak in the defeat. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Falco-Szova maintains sixth place with 14-11 record, which they share with ZTE KK. Newly promoted Szedeak keeps the tenth position with 15 games lost. They share it with Marso-Vagep. Falco-Szova will meet PVSK Pannon (#8) in the next round. Szedeak will play against the league's leader Szolnok in Szolnok and hope to secure a win.
