An interesting game took place in Kaposvar where 9th ranked Soproni (11-15) was upset on the court of twelfth ranked Kaposvari (10-16) 123-98. The game without a history. Kaposvari led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 78 of its points in the paint compared to Soproni's 54. Kaposvari players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. Americans were the main players on the court. Center Kurt Cunningham (206-87, college: Boise St.) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 10 rebounds. Forward Daniel Werner (203-87, college: Florida) contributed with a double-double by scoring 23 points, 10 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals for the winners. Power forward Darian Townes (208-84) replied with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 11 rebounds and guard Thomas Kelley (188-77, college: Michigan St., agency: Avi Zilberman) added 14 points and 6 assists in the effort for Soproni. Four Kaposvari and five Soproni players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Kaposvari have a solid four-game winning streak.
