Quarter-Finals Round 5: Real Madrid - Valencia 66-58

Real Madrid earned their first Final Four berth in 15 years. They managed to beat Valencia 66-58 in fifth decisive game of the Playoff Quarterfinals and will take on Maccabi Electra in the Semis (May 6). Carlos Suarez was a key player for the hosts with double-double of 12 points and 10 rebounds (valuation 19). Clay Tucker also scored 12, while Ante Tomic helped with 9 points and 9 boards. Dusko Savanovic shined on the other side and was the MVP of this meeting with valuation 23. He collected 19 points and 6 rebounds for 33 minutes. Rafael Martinez had 16 points and was the last one with double digits in scoring for Valencia. Valencia opened the game with quick 2-11 lead and later finished first quarter with 11-17. The home squad came to 21-16 at the halfway of the second period, which later ended with 40-42 Valencia lead. Clay Tucker was the one who made a deep triple in the last Real Madrid possession in the first half. Third quarter was the crucial one in this meeting.
