No shocking result in a game when first ranked Unics Kazan (15-5) defeated on the road 9th ranked Dynamo Moscow (6-15) 84-70 on Tuesday. The guests trailed by 4 points at the halftime before their 47-29 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Unics Kazan made 25-of-32 free shots (78.1 percent) during the game. Unics Kazan outrebounded Dynamo Moscow 36-25 including 24 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was Polish-Swedish center Maciej Lampe (210-85) who had a double-double by scoring 21 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists. Croatian guard Marko Popovic (185-82, college: S.Idaho JC) chipped in 12 points and 5 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was international forward Alexey Zhukanenko (210-86, agency: Alti Sport) who recorded 15 points and 8 rebounds and the former international guard Victor Keyru (199-84) added 15 points respectively. Five Dynamo Moscow players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Unics Kazan maintains first place with 15-5 record. Dynamo Moscow at the other side keeps the ninth position with 15 games lost. Unics Kazan will face Krasnie Krilya (#8) in Samara in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Dynamo Moscow will play on the road against Spartak St.Petersburg.
