The game between closely ranked teams ended with fifth ranked CSKA Moscow's (14-8) home victory over 6th ranked Enisey Krasnoyarsk (10-11) 91-75 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by CSKA Moscow. Enisey Krasnoyarsk managed to win third quarter 22-10. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. 32 personal fouls committed by Enisey Krasnoyarsk helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of Lithuanian guard Ramunas Siskauskas (197-78) who helped to win the game recording 20 points. International center Sasha Kaun (211-85) contributed with 16 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Four CSKA Moscow players scored in double figures. American guard Marcus Williams (191-85, college: Connecticut) replied with 21 points and 4 assists and Serbian power forward Dragan Labovic (207-87, agency: Alti Sport) added 16 points and 5 rebounds (made all of his seven free throws) in the effort for Enisey Krasnoyarsk. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Defending champion moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Spartak SP. Enisey Krasnoyarsk at the other side keeps the sixth position with 11 games lost. CSKA Moscow is looking forward to face bottom-ranked Triumph Lyubertsy (#10) in Lubertsy in the next round where they are favorite. Enisey Krasnoyarsk will play at home against Khimky (#3) in Khimki and is hoping to prove to their fans that the loss was just an accident.
