Very predictable result when second ranked Lokomotiv (15-7) won against bottom-ranked Triumph Lyubertsy (4-17) in Lubertsy 90-75 on Tuesday. The guests trailed by 2 points at the halftime before their 52-35 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. It was a very good performance for American-FYR Macedonian forward Jeremiah Massey (202-82, college: Kansas St.) who helped to win the game recording 20 points. American-FYR Macedonian forward Michael Wilkinson (204-81, college: Wisconsin, agency: Interperformances) contributed with 14 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Four Lokomotiv players scored in double figures. American guard Tywain McKee (188-86, college: Coppin St.) replied with 21 points and Australian center Luke Nevill (218-86, college: Utah) added 15 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Triumph Lyubertsy. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Lokomotiv maintains second position with 15-7 record having just -2 point less than leader Unics. Triumph Lyubertsy lost ninth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom place with 17 games lost. Lokomotiv are looking forward to face league's leader Unics Kazan at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Triumph Lyubertsy will play against CSKA Moscow (#5) and is hoping to prove to their fans that they can break losing series.
