The game between closely ranked teams ended with ninth ranked Dynamo Moscow's (8-17) road victory over bottom-ranked Triumph Lyubertsy (4-20) 109-106 on Wednesday. The guests trailed by 7 points after three quarters before their 19-14 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Dynamo Moscow looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Triumph Lyubertsy was plagued by 32 personal fouls down the stretch. The former international guard Victor Keyru (199-84) fired 24 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. The former international forward Nikita Shabalkin (205-86) chipped in a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds. Forward Sergey Karasev (203-93) produced 34 points (!!!) and 6 rebounds and American guard Tywain McKee (188-86, college: Coppin St.) added 29 points and 8 rebounds respectively for lost side. Five Dynamo Moscow and four Triumph Lyubertsy players scored in double figures. Triumph Lyubertsy's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Dynamo Moscow moved-up to eighth place, which they share with N.Novgorod. Triumph Lyubertsy lost twelfth consecutive game. They stay dead last with 20 lost games. Dynamo Moscow's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Moscow CSKA Moscow.
