PBL top team - Unics Kazan (21-6) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed tenth ranked Triumph Lyubertsy (5-22) 90-69. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Triumph Lyubertsy. The game without a history. Unics Kazan led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Unics Kazan outrebounded Triumph Lyubertsy 45-31 including a 33-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. Triumph Lyubertsy was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a quality performance for Bosnian-Slovenian center Hasan Rizvic (212-84) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 12 rebounds. The former international guard Petr Samoylenko (185-77) accounted for 13 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists for the winning side. Five Unics Kazan players scored in double figures. The former international guard Egor Vyaltsev (192-85) came up with 12 points and 7 assists and center Aleksei Kurcevich (209-89) added 13 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Triumph Lyubertsy in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Unics Kazan have a solid series of four victories in a row. They celebrated the first place with 21-6 record. Triumph Lyubertsy at the other side stay dead last with 22 lost games.
