No shocking result in a game when top-ranked Pecs 2010 (3-0) crushed at home bottom-ranked BSE-FCSM (0-4) 83-38 on Friday. The game without a history. Pecs 2010 led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding BSE-FCSM to just 7 points in second quarter. Pecs 2010 held BSE-FCSM to an opponent 21.7 percent shooting from the field compared to 48.4 percent accuracy of the winners and made 16-of-21 free shots (76.2 percent) during the game. Pecs 2010 forced 22 BSE-FCSM turnovers and outrebounded them 46-25 including a 35-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 5 passes made by BSE-FCSM's players. Quite impressive performance for American guard Allie Quigley (180-86, college: De Paul) who helped to win the game recording 16 points and 6 rebounds. International guard Krisztina Raksanyi (180-91) contributed with 15 points and 4 assists for the winners. Forward Monika Hegedus (178-82) replied with 8 points and 8 rebounds and power forward Melinda Bagi (190-86) added 6 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for BSE-FCSM. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Pecs 2010 have a solid three-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains sixth position with 3-0 record. Loser BSE-FCSM still closes the standings with four games lost. Pecs 2010 will face DKSK (#10) in the next round. BSE-FCSM's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Budapest to the arena Vasas.
