There was no surprise in Szeged where bottom-ranked Szedeak (0-2) was defeated by top-ranked Albacomp (2-0) 72-62. They made 18-of-22 charity shots (81.8 percent) during the game. American swingman Muhammad El Amin (196-87, college: Stony Brook) orchestrated the victory by scoring 35 points (!!!) and 5 rebounds (was perfect 10-for-10 from the free throw line !!!). The former international point guard Balazs Simon (188-80, agency: Court Side) contributed with 10 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals for the winners. Serbian Tomislav Ivosev replied with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds and power forward Attila Tanacs (200-82) added 21 points in the effort for Szedeak. Albacomp keeps a position of league leader, which they share with 4 other teams. Newly promoted Szedeak still closes the standings with two games lost. They share the position with 4 other teams.
