Regular Season Round 4: Soproni - FS Debrecen 80-70

Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both tenth ranked Soproni and 8th ranked FS Debrecen had identical 1-2 record. This time Soproni used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from Debrecen 80-70 on Sunday night. The game was mostly controlled by Soproni. FS Debrecen was better in second period 15-12. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a very good performance for the former international swingman Andras Molnar (195-83, agency: TSS Management) who helped to win the game recording 29 points. American guard Janou Rubin (193-82, college: UCLA) contributed with 14 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. American point guard Justin Ingram (185-85, college: Toledo) replied with 26 points and 6 assists and power forward Miklos Szabo (206-86, college: Hofstra) added 8 points and 12 rebounds in the effort for FS Debrecen. Soproni (2-2) moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Marso NYKK. Loser FS Debrecen dropped to the ninth position with three games lost. Soproni will face Szedeak (#13) in Szeged in the next round where they are favorite. FS Debrecen will play at home against Falco-Szova (#6) in Szombathely.
