Regular Season Round 5: Rivas Ecopolis - IMOS Brno 112-70

Rivas Ecopolis celebrated a comfortable win over Frisco Sika in Round 5 of Euroleague regular season. Asjha Jones nailed 20 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to pace the hosts to the third win in Group C. Frisco Sika on the other hand fell at 1-4 record after the loss. Rivas Ecopolis opened the game strongly. They fired 27 points in the first ten minutes to take a 13-point lead. The hosts did not slow down in the second period. They unleashed 28 points to take a comfortable 55:35 halftime advantage. Things got just worse for Frisco Sika in the second half. Rivas Ecopolis took over completely in the third frame. They knocked down 32 points in the period to enjoy a massive 37-point lead with ten minutes remaining. Frisco Sika slowed down the home team in the fourth frame but never got any closer as the Spanish team cruised to the victory. Essence Carson and Anna Cruz had 16 points each for the winners. Jasmine Thomas responded with 18 points for Frisco Sika. Tereza Peckova, Romana Hejdova and Alena Hanusova chipped in 9 points each in the loss.
