An interesting game for Ural Ekaterinburg (7-2) which hosted in Ekaterinburg 4th placed Rjazan (3-4). First ranked Ural Ekaterinburg had an easy win 88-69. The game without a history. Ural Ekaterinburg led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Ural Ekaterinburg forced 21 Rjazan turnovers. It was a great shooting night for Ural Ekaterinburg especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 64.7 percentage. It was a good game for guard Anton Glazunov (182-86) who led his team to a victory with 8 points and 13 assists. Forward Semen Shashkov (205-89) contributed with 20 points and 4 steals for the winners. Rjazan at the other side dropped to the sixth position with four games lost. Ural Ekaterinburg are again looking forward to face Rjazan (#6) at home in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Rjazan will have a break next round.
