Bottom-ranked ZTE KK (0-6) is still winless. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their sixth consecutive match to eleventh ranked Kaposvari (2-4) 77-74 on Sunday evening. The guests started the game with a very strong first quarter 23-12. But ZTE KK won second period 20-19. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Chris Hines (203, college: Alabama, agency: Court Side) who recorded a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds and swingman Tim Whitworth (198-81, college: Drexel, agency: Limelight Hoops) added 22 points and 5 rebounds respectively. Kaposvari moved-up to eighth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Defending champion ZTE KK still closes the standings with six games lost. Kaposvari will meet at home higher ranked Atomeromu (#6) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. ZTE KK will play against Marso NYKK (#11) in Nyiregyhaza and hopes to get finally their first victory.
