Regular Season Round 6: FCB Regal - Un.Olimpija 72-46

Regal Barca demonstrated its power against Union Olimpija beating them 72-46 at the Palau Blaugrana on Thursday night. The reigning Spanish champion keeps the first place in Group D with perfect 6-0 record. Slovenians dropped to 1-5 on the other side and they are in very difficult situation now as Galatasary and Unics won their games in this round. Barca took control on Olimpija from the beginning and never looked back. Juan Carlos Navarro scored 14 points in victory, while Kosta Perovic and Marcelinho Huertas added 12 points each. In defeat, Danny Green (5 rebs) and Aleksandar Capin scored 10 points each. Deon Thompson stopped to 8 pts in this meeting. Quarters: 23-16, 17-10, 23-6, 9-14. Barca goes to Gdynia next week, while Olimpija will host Montepaschi.
