Regular Season Round 10: BBC Nyon - Lugano Tigers 67-73

Date: November 26, 2011
The game in Nyon was also worth to mention about. Second ranked Lugano Tigers (8-1) played at the court of 7th ranked BBC Nyon (2-7). Lugano Tigers managed to secure a 6-point victory 73-67. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 20-12. But BBC Nyon won second period 15-13. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The former international guard Dusan Mladjan (199-86, agency: Interperformances) notched 28 points and 8 rebounds to lead the effort and American forward Mohammed Abukar (208-85, college: San Diego St., agency: Interperformances) supported him with 24 points and 10 rebounds. Even a double-double of 13 points and 12 rebounds by American forward Ryan Dermody (206-87, college: Wyoming) did not help to save the game for BBC Nyon. Serbian swingman Srdjan Zivkovic (200-86, agency: 011 Sports) added 18 points and 6 assists for lost side. BBC Nyon's coach Pierre-Alain Badan rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Lugano Tigers have an impressive six-game winning streak. Defending champion keeps a position of league leader. BBC Nyon lost third consecutive game. They keep the seventh place with seven games lost. Lugano Tigers will play against Starwings (#6) in Basel in the next round where they are favorite.
