Regular Season Round 8: ZTE KK - PVSK Pannon 71-82

Bottom-ranked ZTE KK is still unable to win any game. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their eighth consecutive match to tenth ranked PVSK Pannon (3-5) 82-71. The guests were tied after three quarters but managed to speed up in last quarter eventually winning the game. PVSK Pannon made 21-of-25 charity shots (84.0 percent) during the game, while ZTE KK only scored three points from the stripe. Worth to mention a great performance of American swingman Jara Doyne (193-84, college: Mississippi) who helped to win the game recording 31 points and 9 rebounds and Serbian guard Andrija Ciric (199-80, agency: BeoExcell) who added 18 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. American forward Chris Hines (203, college: Alabama, agency: Court Side) responded with 14 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists and international forward Gergely Toth (207-89, agency: Laszlo Vinko Group) scored 17 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. PVSK Pannon moved-up to seventh place, which they share with 3 other teams. Defending champion ZTE KK still closes the standings with eight games lost. PVSK Pannon will play against higher ranked Atomeromu (#6) in Paks in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. ZTE KK will play on the road against Szolnok (#5) in Szolnok and hopes to get finally their first victory.
