Rather predictable result when fifth ranked Rjazan (7-5) defeated at home bottom-ranked Sojuz Zaretchny (1-11) 84-68. Sojuz Zaretchny was ahead by 2 points at the halftime before a 49-31 second half run of Rjazan. They also forced 19 Sojuz Zaretchny turnovers and had a 35-22 advantage in offensive rebounds. Sojuz Zaretchny was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch.
