Regular Season Round 12: BBC Nyon - Boncourt 57-65

LNA round 12 most important game was a victory of Boncourt over 7th ranked BBC Nyon 65-57 on Saturday night. The guests trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 1-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 65-57. Boncourt forced 20 BBC Nyon turnovers. Strangely BBC Nyon outrebounded Boncourt 46-31 including 17 on the offensive glass. It was a good game for Serbian-Bosnian center Nemanja Calasan (204-85, college: Purdue) who led his team to a victory with 19 points and 8 rebounds. American power forward Marcus Allen (201-87, college: Jacksonville) contributed with 15 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Serbian swingman Srdjan Zivkovic (200-86) replied with 22 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 steals and American forward Ryan Dermody (206-87, college: Wyoming) added 11 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for BBC Nyon. Boncourt (3-8) moved-up to seventh place. BBC Nyon lost fifth consecutive game. They dropped to the eighth position with nine games lost. Boncourt are looking forward to face higher ranked Starwings (#6) in Basel in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. BBC Nyon will play on the road against the league's second-placed Geneve Lions where they are definitely not considered as a favorite in this game either.
