Spartak MR secured the seventh win in Euroleague regular season. The Russian powerhouse held off visiting Rivas Ecopolis to climb at 7-3 record in Group C. Rivas Ecopolis in the meantime fell at 5-5 record. Spartak MR led from the start. They earned a 21:18 lead after ten minutes of action. Hammon and Candice Dupree stretched the margin to 9 points 35:26 midway through the second term. The hosts stretched the gap to as many as 14 points at the interval 44:30. Spartak led by 18 points midway through the third quarter but Rivas Ecopolis did not surrender. Carson triggered a 16:5 run as the visitors cut the deficit at 7-point mark. Carson and Asjha Jones brought Rivas Ecopolis within 4 points 70:74 with just over three minutes remaining. Asjha Jones and Aguilar made it 74:76 with just over a minute to go however Seimone Augustus and Irina Osipova nailed three points late in regulation to seal the win for Spartak MR. Seimone Augustus provided 18 points, while Irina Osipova and Candice Dupree delivered 15 points each for the winners. Asjha Jones answered with 20 points for Rivas Ecopolis. Anna Cruz nailed 16 points in defeat.
