The most exciting game of round 18 in the Superlaegue took place in Revda. This derby game ended with only one-point defeat on the road of one of their biggest challengers Rjazan (8-7) to fifth ranked TEMP-SUMZ Revda (9-6) 74-73 in the game for the fourth place. The hosts trailed by 8 points after three quarters before their 26-17 charge, which allowed them to win the game. TEMP-SUMZ Revda made 17-of-22 free shots (77.3 percent) during the game. They also forced 19 Rjazan turnovers. 25 personal fouls committed by Rjazan helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Four Rjazan players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. TEMP-SUMZ Revda moved-up to fourth place. Rjazan at the other side dropped to the fifth position with seven games lost. They share it with Severstal. TEMP-SUMZ Revda are again looking forward to face Rjazan (#6) at home in the next round. Rjazan will have a break next round.
