Regular Season Round 12: Kormend - Szolnok 73-93

The most important game in the last round took place in Kormend between second ranked Kormend (10-2) and fourth ranked Szolnok (9-3) on Wednesday night. Kormend was crushed by Szolnok at home 73-93. American forward Rashad Bell (201-82, college: Boston U.) replied with 12 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists and his fellow American import power forward Darian Townes (208-84) added 12 points and 12 rebounds in the effort for Kormend. Five Szolnok and four Kormend players scored in double figures. Kormend's coach rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win. Szolnok maintains fourth position with 9-3 record. Kormend at the other side dropped to the third place with two games lost. Szolnok are looking forward to face league's leader Albacomp in Szekesfehervar in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Kormend will play against Jaszberenyi and is hoping to win this game.
