Regular Season Round 10: Un.Olimpija - Unics 63-76

Unics demonstrated another good performance and outplayed struggling Union Olimpija in Ljubljana 63-76 for 7-3 record in Group D of the Euroleague regular season. That is enough for third place in Group D and of course for the spot in Top 16. Union Olimpija ended as the last ranked team in this pool with 1-9. Henry Domercant stepped up with 16 points and 5 rebounds in victory, while Alexey Savrasenko and Terrell Lyday netted 14 points each. At the other side, Olimpija got 13 points and 9 rebs from Jaka Blazic. Sasu Salin and Jan Mocnik scored 11 points each. Unics had strong beginning and later managed to keep its lead. Quarters: 11-25, 18-16, 12-13, 22-22. The Top 16 draw is scheduled for December 28 in Barcelona. The games of the Top 16 round will be played on Wednesdays and Thursdays between January 18 and March 1.
