Important game to mention about took place in . Thirteenth ranked Jaszberenyi (3-9) saved a 2-point victory at home edging higher ranked Kecskemeti (6-6) 77-75 on Wednesday evening. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 22-19. But Kecskemeti won second period 18-17. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a good game for American guard Jibril Hodges (188-84, college: Long Beach St.) who led his team to a victory with 18 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals. The other American import forward Kyle Austin (203-88, college: Cal-Riverside) contributed with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Four Jaszberenyi players scored in double figures. Jaszberenyi's coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. International power forward Milan Csorvasi (209-88, agency: FCM) replied with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 11 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) and Serbian guard Ivan Vukadinov (193-81) added 19 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Kecskemeti. Jaszberenyi moved-up to twelfth place, which they share with FS Debrecen. Kecskemeti lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the sixth position with six games lost. Jaszberenyi will face higher ranked Kormend (#3) on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
