Regular Season Round 10: Partizan - EA7 Armani 66-72

It was a do-or-die game for both teams. EA7 Armani demonstrated great performance in the last five minutes of third and also in the last quarter to celebrate 66-72 victory in Belgrade. The Milano team had to win with more than 4 points to book a spot for Top 16 and they did it. EA7 Armani jumped to fourth place in Group C with 4-6 record and Partizan dropped to fifth position with the same numbers. The Serbian powerhouse stays out of Top 16 phase this season. Malik Hairston led Milano with 18 points and Omar-Sharif Cook added 17 points, plus 6 assists. Ioannis Bourousis was third scorer in victory with 13 points. At the other side, Partizan got 14 points and 6 rebounds from Dragan Milosavljevic. Milan Macvan had 13 pts and 11 rebs, while Miroslav Raduljiva collected 11 points and 8 boards. In heartbreaking finish Partizan found the three-point shot it needed to earn a Top 16 spot, but Danilo Andjusic missed it and EA7 Emporio Armani advanced to the next stage. Quarters: 18-14, 18-15, 14-22, 16-21. The Top 16 draw is scheduled for next Wednesday.
