PBL top team - CSKA Moscow (6-1) had no problems winning another game on Saturday. This time they crushed ninth ranked Enisey Krasnoyarsk (1-6) 102-80. The game without a history. CSKA Moscow led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Enisey Krasnoyarsk's 38 and made 21-of-26 free shots (80.8 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Enisey Krasnoyarsk 38-25 including 26 on the offensive glass. The best player for the winners was the former international guard Alexey Shved (196-88, agency: Alti Sport) who scored 15 points and 5 assists. Serbian center Nenad Krstic (213-83, agency: INVICTUS Sports Group) chipped in 15 points and 6 rebounds. American center Lonny Baxter (204-79, college: Maryland, agency: Priority Sports) produced 15 points and 6 rebounds and Bosnian center Elmedin Kikanovic (210-88, agency: Beo Basket) added 14 points and 6 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Defending champion maintains first position with 6-1 record. Enisey Krasnoyarsk lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the ninth place with six games lost. They share the position with N.Novgorod. CSKA Moscow will meet at home Spartak St.Petersburg (#5) in the next round. Enisey Krasnoyarsk will play against Krasnie Krilya (#7) in Samara and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
