Not a big story in a game in Basel where 9th ranked SAM Massagno (1-12) was rolled over by seventh ranked Starwings (5-8) 75-44 on Saturday. The game without a history. Starwings led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding SAM Massagno to just 7 points in fourth quarter. Starwings dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to SAM Massagno's 26. Starwings forced 19 SAM Massagno turnovers and outrebounded them 43-23 including a 28-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. SAM Massagno lost fifth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with 12 games lost. Starwings will face higher ranked SAV Vacallo (#5) in Chiasso in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. SAM Massagno will play at home against the league's leader Lugano Tigers (#1).
