Rivas Ecopolis ensured the sixth win in Euroleague regular season. They toppled visiting Montpellier to climb at 6-5 record in Group C. Asjha Jones poured in 31 points and pulled down 13 rebounds to lead the charge. Montpellier fell at 5-6 record after the loss. Rivas Ecopolis quickly cleared off to a 12:4 lead. Montpellier tried to stay close but the hosts capped the first frame on a 7:0 run to secure a 21:12 advantage. Aguilar gave Rivas Ecopolis a 10-point lead midway through the second term. But Montpellier refused to go away as they trimmed the distance to just 5 points at the interval 32:37. The hosts answered with a 13:0 rally midway through the third period to clear off once again. Rivas Ecopolis entered the fourth frame up by 17 points and never looked back en route to the win. Essence Carson accounted for 17 points, while Laura Nicholls added 13 points in the victory. Ana Lelas responded with 15 points for Montpellier. Fatimatou Sacko had 11 points in the loss.
