A League top team - MKB Euroleasing (16-0) had no problems winning another game on Saturday. This time they crushed twelfth ranked BEAC-Ujbuda (1-15) in Sopron 92-49. The game without a history. MKB Euroleasing led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding BEAC-Ujbuda to just 1 points in first quarter. MKB Euroleasing dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to BEAC-Ujbuda's 28 and made 26-of-32 free shots (81.3 percent) during the game. They outrebounded BEAC-Ujbuda 46-18 including a 18-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. MKB Euroleasing looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by BEAC-Ujbuda's players. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when MKB Euroleasing made 7 blocks. 27 personal fouls committed by BEAC-Ujbuda helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a quality performance of Serbian center Sara Krnjic (193-91) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 19 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists (made all of her seven free throws) and Ukrainian forward Olexandra Kurasova (186-86) who added 14 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. Four MKB Euroleasing players scored in double figures. At the losing side forward Judit Zsamar (179-89) responded with 10 points and forward Virag Havasi (174-89) scored 11 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. MKB Euroleasing have an impressive 14-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 16-0 record. BEAC-Ujbuda lost sixth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom place with 15 games lost. They share the position with BSE-FCSM. MKB Euroleasing are looking forward to face DKSK (#7) in the next round where they are favorite. BEAC-Ujbuda will play against Pecs 2010 (#3) and is hoping to prove to their fans that they can break losing series.
