Regular Season Round 17: Albacomp - Falco-Szova 71-73

The most exciting game of round 17 in the A Division took place in Szekesfehervar. This derby game ended with only two-point home defeat of 3rd placed Albacomp (13-3) to second ranked Falco-Szova (15-2) 73-71 on Saturday evening. Falco-Szova forced 22 Albacomp turnovers. Serbian forward Djordje Pantelic (204-84) stepped up and scored 19 points and 7 rebounds for the winners and the former international guard Laszlo Kalman (186-72, agency: Laszlo Vinko Group) chipped in 12 points and 9 assists. American forward Damian Hollis (203-88, college: G.Washington) responded with 25 points and 7 rebounds and the other American import forward Wayne Chism (206-87, college: Tennessee) produced a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds. Five Falco-Szova and four Albacomp players scored in double figures. Albacomp's coach Branislav Dzunic rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Falco-Szova have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Kormend. Albacomp at the other side keeps the third place with three games lost. They share the position with Szolnok. Falco-Szova is looking forward to face FS Debrecen (#12) at home in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Albacomp will play against Kecskemeti (#6) and is hoping to prove to their supporters that this time they can win.
