Amazing night for the Euroleague newcomer Galatasaray. The Turkish squad was better than CSKA Moscow 68-64 handing them the first Euroleague loss this season. CSKA had a 13-game winning streak before this meeting. Joshua Shipp was a key player for the hosts with 22 points. Luksa Andric also was great adding 16 points and 7 rebounds, and Cevher Ozer helped with 9 pts. In CSKA, Alexey Shved (5 rebs) and Sasha Kaun delivered 11 points each. Andrei Kirilenko was limited to 10 pts. Galatasaray was up by four with something more than 3 minutes left in the game. Krstic scored for CSKA after that and Lukas answered at the other side. CSKA was not able to make it at their next possession and Lucas netted a five-meter jumper for Galatasaray. Teodosic buried a running triple for a 65-62 CSKA deficit, after what Ender Arslan and Teodosic traded free throws and Galatasaray turnover gave CSKA the ball back, 66-63, with 10 seconds left. Teodosic tried from behind the arc, but got fouled and he scored just 1 of 3 free throws after that. Joshua Shipp drew a foul and with two free throws secured very valuable victory for his team. Quarters: 15-13, 16-23, 24-18, 13-10. Galatasaray joined Olympiakos with 2-2 record in Group E, while CSKA stays No.1 in this pool with 3-1. In the next round, Galatasaray will play against Anadolu Efes. CSKA will host Olympiakos.
